Wycombe Capture Duberry Signature

Wycombe Wanderers manager Peter Taylor has today completed the signing of veteran defender Michael Duberry as he continues his team-building following the Chairboys promotion to League One.

33 year-old Duberry has signed a two-year deal with the Blues after his contract with Championship side Reading expired this summer.

The experienced centre-back has spent most of his career in the Premiership and has collected League Cup, European Cup Winners Cup and European Super Cup medals with Chelsea.

His previous clubs are Chelsea, Bournemouth (loan), Leeds United, Stoke City and Reading.

Taylor told his club's official website:

'I'm delighted to sign Michael. I've known him for a long time and had him in the England U21s. He's got great leadership qualities and I wanted that within the squad.'

Looks like a decent signing. Good, strong, experienced centre-half.
