Strikers and Midfielders in Taylor's Sights

Wycombe Wanderers manager Peter Taylor has revealed the names of several Summer transfer targets.

According to The Bucks Free Press, Taylor has made enquiries about the following players:

Ben Strevens (Dagenham & Redbridge)

Sam Saunders (Dagenham & Redbridge)

Billy Kee (Leicester City)

Matthew Gill (Exeter City).

Strevens and Kee are both strikers, while Saunders and Gill are midfielders.

Taylor can expect competition for all four players, with Brentford already rumoured to be keen on both Saunders and Strevens.

The Wycombe boss however, will not be rushing into anything:

'In the past, in my younger days, I might have gone straight in and done all my deals and gone off on holiday, but I'm a bit more experienced now,' said Taylor.

'There are going to be a lot of players out there so there's no mad panic. If I go for someone now I could miss out on someone else who is available and I think most managers are doing the same.'

'I'm getting lots of calls from people at the moment and I will take my time to get it right.'
