Taylor to keep an eye on Casement

Defender Chris Casement has returned to Ipswich Town following his loan-spell at Wycombe Wanderers.

The Northern Ireland U21 international rejoins his parent club after the maximum 93 day loan period, during which he made 12 appearances for the Chairboys.

His debut came in the 1-0 home defeat against Grimsby Town on 17th January and his final appearance in the 1-1 home draw with Shrewsbury Town on 28th March.

Although Wycombe fans have seen the last of Casement for this season, his current contract with Ipswich expires in the summer and manager Peter Taylor has revealed that he will be watching developments closely.

Taylor told the Ipswich Evening Star: "He's got a good career ahead of him. He's a good lad who can play in a couple of positions."

"He's done very well for us, he's only young but he has come in and played in some big games for us. He is someone I will be keeping an eye on."
