Wycombe Wanderers have signed Weymouth striker Stuart Beavon on loan until the end of the season.
A deal is also in place to make the signing permanent when the loan-spell expires in the summer.
Beavon has been a prolific scorer for the Blue Square Premier side and has 15 goals already this season, 8 of which he's scored in his last 6 outings.
Last season he was named Player of the Round in the First Round of the F.A.Cup after scoring a hat trick in the space of just seven minutes for Weymouth against Eastbourne Borough.
Formerly with Wallingford and Didcot, Beavon also tasted success in the 2005 FA Vase Final when he was named man of the match after scoring twice in Didcot's 3-2 victory over Sudbury at White Hart Lane.
Wycombe manager Peter Taylor was delighted to get his man with plenty of other clubs vying for Beavon's services.
Speaking to his club's official website, Taylor said: 'I'm confident that he can handle the step up to League Two.'
'He can play as a striker or 'In the hole' behind a front two. We could also use him in a wide position coming in off the touchline so we've signed a really versatile player. I'm sure he'll get goals at this level.'
'He's an excellent footballer, hard working and a very good finisher.'
The 24yr old could make his debut against Rotherham in front of the cameras on Monday evening.
