Wycombe v Barnet Game Postponed

Wycombe v Barnet Game Postponed

This evening's game between Wycombe Wanderers and Barnet has been called off.

Despite the pitch being 'immaculate' according to the inspecting referee, the game has been called off after consultation with Wycombe's safety officer Richard Stanford.

It was his opinion that the risk of people hurting themselves in the conditions around the ground were too great.

A decade ago they would have thrown some grit down and people would have made their own minds up whether or not they wanted to attend.
