Balanta Loan Extended

QPR's teenage sensation Angelo Balanta will be staying with Wycombe Wanderers until February 14th 2009.

Balanta missed last weekend's game against Luton Town with a slight hamstring strain but should be fit for Saturday's game against Shrewsbury Town.

Today's news that his loan period has been extended until Feb 14th means that the teenager should be available for 12 more League Two fixtures.

Balanta recently scored stunning goals in successive games against Macclesfield and Aldershot. His overall play has also been a joy to watch and news of his extended stay will gladden the hearts of many Chairboys supporters.
