Taylor Happy At Wycombe

Responding to newspaper speculation linking him with the vacant manager's position at Watford, Peter Taylor today spoke out to allay any fears Wycombe fans may have.

Taylor told the club's official website: 'That's paper talk and it's nice to see because it means we're doing well.'

'I'm happy with what we're doing here. If we were bottom of the league then I wouldn't be linked with anyone, so let's hope I start getting linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona, because that'll mean we're doing even better ! Joked Taylor.

'In all seriousness though, I'm happy where I am.'

Taylor has had a great start to his Wycombe career, with The Chairboys currently occupying 2nd place in League Two and still unbeaten 15 games into the campaign.
