'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Shearer Calls For Right Attitude

Wycombe keeper Scott Shearer doesn't want to find himself on the wrong end of a giant killing after Monday's 1st round tie at AFC Wimbledon.

'It's just the hype about it, it's a fairytale, everyone thinks they can do well and that they can become this season's giant killers.' Shearer told Wycombe's official website.

He went on to say: 'We've just got to make sure that it doesn't happen to us.'

'It's going to be a tough place to go and it's down to attitude.' said Shearer. 'A lower league club like themselves will step up their game so it's going to be down massively to our attitude and the way we prepare. As we do for every game, we will prepare right and worry about ourselves. We'll take Monday as it comes.'

Shearer has had a fine start to the season, keeping 8 clean sheets and only conceding 6 goals in 14 league games.
