Wycombe Capture Moussa

Wycombe Wanderers have signed Belgian Franck Moussa on a one month loan from Southend United.

Nineteen year old Moussa, who has represented Belgium at U-18 level, made his debut for Southend when he was just 16 years old. He has since made sixteen starts and fifteen substitute appearances for The Shrimpers first team.

He was a first team regular for Southend at the start of this season, but failed to regain his place following a three match suspension, which he served after being sent off against Brighton.

Moussa plays in the centre of midfield and is likely to take the place of Wycombe's Tommy Doherty, who starts his own three match suspension this Saturday.

Wycombe manager Peter Taylor told the club's official site: 'He's a good player. I looked at him a lot this season and at the start of the campaign. He's been very unlucky to lose his place at Southend after he got sent off. He's a very similar player to Tommy Doherty, he receives the ball and plays it about in very tight areas. I'm delighted to have him here.'

With Doherty suspended, Bloomfield still out and Gary Holt clearly not yet fully match fit, there is every chance that Moussa will play a large part in Saturday's home game against Darlington.
