Hunt Plays In Reserves' Victory

Wanderers' summer signing Lewis Hunt made his first appearance this afternoon as the reserves won 2-1 at Leyton Orient.

Hunt, who was injured during pre-season training, played for an hour before being replaced by Scott Shulton.

Orient took the lead in the 4th minute through Simon Dawkins, but goals from Magno Vieira (27 mins) and Robbie Rice (46 mins) gave Wycombe's second string their third straight victory.

Craig Woodman was selected for the League Two 'Team Of The Week' yet again. This is the third time this season that Woodman has been included.

Wycombe boss Peter Taylor has decided not to appeal against Tommy Doherty's red card.

Taylor told the club's official site: 'When it happened we felt the decision was harsh, but after seeing it again I don't think we have any real complaints. You can appeal these days and end up with a longer ban, so I don't think it's worth the risk.'

Doherty will miss The home game against Darlington and the visits to Barnet and Accrington Stanley.
