Following Wycombe's thrilling 2-1 win over Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday here are some Daggers' views of the game.
Dagenham manager John Still was gracious in defeat, he told local paper the Ilford Recorder :
'Wycombe did ever so well, they are hard to score against and have been all season.'
He went on to say
'After the sending off, I thought we would be capable of not letting them score. The only way they scored was how I thought they would though, through two restarts (set-pieces) and they were two fantastic headers, so I've got no complaints about that.'
Still felt Simon Church's sending off was the correct decision, but admitted feeling some sympathy for the Wycombe striker,
'He went in with both feet up, there wasn't any malice in it whatsoever, it was a forward's tackle and I felt for him', said Still.
Most Daggers' fan's were also complementary.
RonalDaggero wrote on the BBC 606 website :
'Well done Wycombe, winning with ten men as well.'
On the same site, Dagger83 wrote :
'Losing to ten men is hard to take, but away at Wycombe is always going to be a tough game.'
DaggerIron however, was not so complimentary, he wrote on 606
'Well done on your win, other than that how can you watch Wycombe week in, week out. They must be the most boring team ever and I could not watch them all the time.'
Well, you can't please everybody !
