Wycombe Defenders In The Wars

Ten-man Wycombe fought hard for their win over Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday, none more so than Central defenders Mike Williamson and Leon Johnson.

Now it transpires that both players have picked up broken noses for their trouble.

Williamson scored two headed goals to take his season's tally to three and doesn't intend to let his injury stop him, he told local paper The Bucks Free Press : 'It's a bit sore at the moment but I will be there on Saturday against Bury.'

This Saturday sees League leaders Bury take on second placed Wycombe at Gigg Lane. Only goal difference separates the two sides.
