'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wycombe Sign Striker Matt Harrold

With only a few hours to spare, Wycombe have completed the signing of 24 year old striker Matt Harrold from Southend United.

Harrold joins on a two year deal, for a so far undisclosed five figure fee.

The 6'1' frontman is the big targetman manager Peter Taylor has been after and he is quoted on Wycombe's official site as saying 'Ive seen Matt play many times for Southend and I really like him. He's got a lot of quality and he's got all the things you want from a big striker so I'm really pleased to have signed him.'

Taylor goes on to say 'I've kept an eye on him and I'd like to thank the board for allowing me to get what I wanted'.

Harrold has previously also played for Harlow, Brentford and Yeovil, with loan spells at Dagenham & Redbridge and Grimsby.
