Chester 0-2 Wycombe

Wycombe came away from the Deva Stadium with all three points on Saturday after a 2-0 win over struggling Chester, who have now conceded 13 goals in only three matches.

John Mousinho (26) capitalised on long ball to lift over Chester 'keeper John Danby midway through the first half as the guests went ahead. Scott Shearer had to be alert in the Wycombe goal to twice deny Ryan Lowe from levelling the scores but it was Scott McGleish (67) who secured the points midway through the second half as he converted a penalty.

Only the bar denied Leon Johnson from adding a third with a header.

We missed Oakes last saturday, and I doubt he will be back in time for our visit next week. Sadly, we need some points on the board and to play okay for more than the odd 45 minutes here and there.
